We finally decided to just try to take some family pictures at home (again) this year. The thought of going somewhere to get them done terrifies me quite frankly. I almost want to scream my head off and get started on pulling out all of my hair. It's just so hard to get those two little girls to smile at the same time and make sure that we REALLY like the picture as we say yes to advance to the next picture (of 7?? or 8??) included in the sitting. Anywho - I feel as long as I can "doctor" them up a bit (which I still need to do to these) they can't be too shabby. One of these days we'll get a fabulous family picture done without me having to run and pose in 10 seconds or less! Maybe we'll get lucky and my brother-in-law can take a ton of pictures for us while we visit with family in PA!
The favor I am asking my readers is to vote for the one that looks the best in each Category (since it is my family -and my face- I tend to be a little overcritical). There are a few people in my family that would love a family picture more than anything - so I want to make sure they get a good one. Please help me out! Don't forget while choosing, I still need to cut/crop/and resize them a bit to make them look better. A quick little message with F: G: and J: with your numbers afterwards would be just fine. Thanks!

you are very photogenic, janice:) and your hubby knows how to smile! chris's smile wears out after a couple seconds. then the migraine starts from the constant flash. fun:)

Thanks for all the quick voting!! Wow! I was hoping to have some help before deciding which pictures to order. Thanks again!
My votes are for:
Family: 1, 7, or 10 (I like 1 the best I think)
Girls: 2 or 4
You guys: 4
The pictures are all adorable, and I can't believe how big the girls have gotten! They are so cute! (And Melanie did a great job with your pictures!)

Cute Cute! Your dressed turned out beautiful & you looked all right wearing it ;) Sounds like it was a nice little vacay! The ships in the water at sunrise our beautiful. I have never lived near water like that-it truly is gorgeous! Your nativity is really neat. They are such beautiful pieces!
Way to go Jan! They look great!

See you in about a week! We love you!
Hey, did you get my email on facebook? I need your address for my Christmas card!
okay I lov #7 of all of you, and I love the #1,2 and 4 (although they color and black and white look the same?)of the girls, and then #4 of you guys or the one in color. But they all are cute! Good job!
You got some really great pictures, Janice! Your girls are adorable, your man is handsome, and you are gorgeous. I'm impressed you could get so many good pics with a timer. I know it's too late to vote (but #7 was my favorite family photo)...In the future, if you need any help with touch ups, I love to photo shop. I've been practicing for quite a few years and have gotten pretty good at making the pictures look very natural while switching around heads to get everyone's best expression, erasing distracting backgrounds, etc. If you ever want me to work on something, just email pictures to me and I'd love to help!
