My second-born has finally joined the ranks of the "handfuls". While she has been a handful on her own pretty much her whole life, she is now official. My dear girl turned 5 on the 13th. Five years ago, on a Friday no less, this little girl came into the world. I really truly love this little dramatic child, she keeps my life interesting - to say the VERY least! With all of that said though, she truly is an amazing child. Her capacity to love is endless and has been found including the new (shy) children at school in her "creative play" moments. She had pretty much everyone's name memorized by the end of the first day of school. I find her saying "hello (fill in their name)" and occasionally "hello (fill in child's name)'s mom!" - she knows EVERYONE!! While she will on occasion blame her bad behavior on "I'm just a curious girl" (yes, she has been documented as saying that) she truly is pure gold at heart. Her excitement about life reminds me of a young girl I knew once. Most days I am certain Heavenly Father sent her to our family to teach me how to be like that again. Thank you for being so pure Julia, and for being able to teach me about life and what's really important! LOVE YOU and Happy Birthday!

I hope she had a great birthday. She really is a sweet girl. I love that she is so crazy, and she just loves to be her. Mackenzie loved being her friend and I miss seeing them play together. I miss you all, and I really hope sometime in the near future we all get to meet back up. Happy birthday Julia, a few days late, I hope it was a GREAT day just like you.
